Jeanne Moreau gets ZINEBI 51 Mikeldi of Honour tomorrow
- The French actress –the muse of some of the greatest filmmakers, including Louis Malle, François Truffaut, Orson Welles, or Luis Buñuel– will be granted this award at the closing ceremony, emceed by Usun Yoon and Gurutze Beitia.
- The ceremony is taking place on Saturday, November 28, at 10:30 p.m. at the Arriaga Theatre in Bilbao.
- Bilbao, November 27, 2009. The great French actress Jeanne Moreau –one of the best-known faces and voices of European film and drama– will get the Mikeldi of Honour of the Festival’s 51st edition, a recognition to her contribution to the development of contemporary cinema. Moreau has a long, eventful career. She has starred in films directed by some of the greatest filmmakers ever, such as Buñuel, Antonioni, Truffaut, Malle, and Fassbinder. She is still active and working, brimming with an amazing vitality.
