SINOPSIS
A documentary film about actors and actresses, as well as the methods of subverting the rigid social norms in Afghanistan. The profession of acting being for the most part considered “disreputable” in Afghan society, in addition to their roles, Afghan actresses must justify their work both for their families as well as in other social contexts.Passing the Rainbow is a film that enacts scenes drawn from the everyday life of those women, thereby reflecting the relations between the sexes.
