SINOPSIS

From her own room, using the pixel-vision collage style in black and white that characterises her early work, Benning collects images and contents showing violence in the USA and combines them with personal testimony, which is not just an ode to her solitude but also to the power of resistance. This very young video-artist plays with fragments of adverts, songs and representations of femininity to paint an anti-patriotic portrait of her country.
