THE DEAD MAN
1991, 35'00'', DVCAM
USA
SINOPSIS
Made in collaboration with Keith Sanborn
The Dead Man is based on
Le Mort, a story by Georges Bataille, that constructs a kind of sexuality that is excessive, dispersed, destructive and scatological. The film charts the adventures of a nearly naked heroine who leaves the corpse of her lover in a country house, goes to a bar, and sets in motion a scabrous free-form orgy before returning to the house to die.
