SINOPSIS

Exposé of the atrocities committed by the French colonial administration in Mali and the Ivory Coast in the period before independence. As well as showing the different kinds of domination that different cultures in West Africa suffered, (ranging from the terror used to collect taxes to exploitation in the workplace), it anticipates what was to be the Pan-African Union in the struggle for independence.
A film that led its director to be charged with13 offences, spend a year in prison and undergo 40 years of censorship.
