Zinebi Express: best short films shot in two days in Bilbao

• Registration for the 2nd Zinebi Express is on Saturday, November 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the foyer of the Ensanche Building. It is free, and there are unlimited vacancies.


• Participants will get an HDV/DV tape, and they’ll have two days to shoot their films. Works then will have to be submitted on Monday, November 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., also at the Ensanche Building.


• The award ceremony will take place in the Ensanche Building on Friday, November 20, starting at 8:00 p.m. The short films selected by the jury will be screened during the ceremony.


• On Thursday, November 12 and Friday, November 13, starting at 8:00 p.m., the School of Fines Arts and the School of Social Science and Communication of the University of the Basque Country (EHU-UPV), the Erandio-Tartanga Institute of Higher Professional Training (IEFPS), and the Claro de Luna, IMVAL and KINEMA Film Schools are presenting the work done by their students in 2009.


• The short film competition ZINEBI EXPRESS is having its 2nd edition this year. It is open to filmmakers, technical and art crews from around the world. Registration is at the Ensanche Building on Saturday, November 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Vacancies are unlimited.
